Covid-19 Conspiracy, China and Beyond
Considering the newest report by the US Energy Department which finally in February 2023 concluded, albeit with “low confidence” that the 2019 coronavirus pandemic began with a leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and FBI Director Christopher Wray’s comments that the bureau “believes COVID-19 most likely originated in a Chinese government-controlled lab,” the global conspiracy to raise pseudo-scientific doubts about the obvious has run a full circle. To add insult to the politically motivated obfuscation, the Chinese government promptly protested by its Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Mao Ning who declared with the usual Chinese tyrannical arrogance that “Certain parties should stop rehashing the ‘lab leak’ narrative, stop smearing China and stop politicizing origin-tracing.”
Meanwhile, the dishonesty of the Chinese people in general and their shameless cheating in dealings with other people, be it in business or production of goods, have been legendary. Equally, from time immemorial, bribery by Chinese politicians, educators as well as businessmen has been as common as cheating and lying. To bluff all the “hairy people,” meaning all non-Han Chinese, has always been a virtue and a source of pride in Chinese culture, because those people deserve to be disrespected on the account of their inferiority to the racially superior Han Chinese people.
These historically abysmal Chinese cultural characteristics, coupled with an unimaginable degree of immoral corruption, have been in full display throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. For a starter, a Chinese physician by the name of Li Wenliang of Wuhan Central Hospital warned his colleagues and the domestic as well as international public about the outbreak of a mysterious illness resembling “severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), which sparked the previous pandemic in 2003, already on December 30, 2019. His reward for his precious insight was first to be summoned by the Public Security Bureau in Wuhan, which accused him of having made false statements and thus disrupting public order. Ultimately, he died fast under mysterious circumstances. His equally honest colleagues who took their professional responsibilities to their patients too seriously were branded “hanjian,” meaning race traitor(s).
The main international actor to the Chinese-staged deception has been Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the current Director of the World Health Organization (WHO), less an Ethiopian microbiologist than more a dedicated anti-democratic as well as anti-capitalist Marxist politician, who flew to Beijing on January 28, 2020. Contrary to the loud chorus of numerous Chinese physicians, claiming that the virus is spreading with unusual speed, the WHO issued a statement prior to the Director’s visit on January 14, 2020, stating that there was “no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus.”
Glaringly, this statement was designed to conceal the spread of the coronavirus upon the explicit personal request of President Xi Jinping, according to Der Spiegel that based its article of January 21, 2020, on a report by the German Intelligence Agency Bundesnachrichtendienst (BDN), in order to hide the fact that President Xi’s wife Peng Liyuan happened to be a Goodwill Ambassador to the WHO. Naturally, her connection to the Chinese tyrant was not mentioned on the WHO’s website. Moreover, Der Spiegel also claimed that President Xi personally called Dr. Tedros, who is not a physician, and requested that the latter and the WHO refrain from declaring that COVID-19 could be transmitted among humans. Finally, Taiwan News reported that President Xi also asked Dr. Tedros to stop a declaration by the WHO of a pandemic. Of course, Dr Tedros the faithful Marxist did comply. No wonder that President Trump stated that “The World Health Organization has been a disaster.”
As a result, India World reported on April 30, 2020, the Chinese authorities locked down all domestic flights internally as early as January 2020, but did not stop international flights from leaving Chinese cities at least until the end of March 2020. In order to demonstrate the Chinese version of boundless chutzpah, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Qin Gang protested to Italy’s Ambassador to Beijing Luca Ferrari following the installation of Rome’s flight ban vis-a-vis all Chinese carriers to Italy. Feeling the heat of the rising international outrage, the WHO reluctantly decided to change its tune and blame the Chinese Communist Party for internationally obstructing any investigation by withholding pertinent information concerning COVID-19 from the organization. However, the WHO’s rebuke of China did not prevent Dr. Tedros from praising Chinese authorities for “setting a new standard for outbreak control” and lauding their “openness for sharing information.”
In the United States of America, mindless political correctness paired with bureaucratic incompetence have resulted in spreading misinformation through the media and the scientific community that have been terrorized by Dr. Anthony Fauci. Enthusiastically supported by the Democrat Party that recognized no scientific, legal and moral principles, the thus materialized pandemic Wokeism emancipated itself from reality. As the Chinese proverb goes: “What is seen is not always the truth.” Indeed, they managed to accommodate the Chinese rhetoric that totally failed to distinguish between the imaginary and the factual.
Yet, as the Roman Seneca opined: “Veritas nunquam perit,” the truth never perishes, even when it is killed from time to time. For this reason, those who actively denied the truth in the United States of America and across the globe and forced people to lie, have been implicit in the demise of millions through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hopefully, the COVID-19 Origin Act 2023, which compels the Director of National Intelligence to “make available to the public as much information as possible about the origin of COVID-19” and passed the U.S. Senate unanimously, will shed a bright light on Chinese and worldwide disinformation. Fully objective disclosure of all the facts surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic would definitely contribute to the restoration of credibility to the recent political and information malaise across the globe.
